  • Fenugreek seeds are very useful for removing dandruff. Soak few seeds of fenugreek in water overnight. Make a paste of that. Apply that paste on the scalp for an hour approx. Rinse off with a mild shampoo.
  • Applying Curd on your hairs and scalp is also an effective remedy. Let that sit for an hour and then rinse it off with a mild shampoo.
  • Rub a spoon of Baking soda on your scalp when the hair are wet. Leave it as it as for 60-70 sec prior to washing off your hairs.
  • Massage 3-5 tbsp of Coconut oil on your scalp. Let it sit for an hour. Then rinse it off with mild shampoo.
  • Massage 2 tbsp of Lemon juice into your scalp. You can stir 1 tbsp of lemon juice into 1 cup of water and rinse daily.
  • Crush a few Garlic cloves and rub it into your scalp, add some honey to avoid that garlic smell. Let it sit for sometime and rinse it off.
  • Massage with few drops of Olive oil into your scalp, cover with a shower cap overnight. You may rinse it off the other day.
  • Boil few Neem leaves in around 4 cups of water. Cool and strain it out. Use the mixture to rinse your hairs 2-3 times a week.
  • Take equal amount of water and Apple cider vinegar and add 15-20 drops of tea tree oil in it. Apply the mixture on your scalp and massage. Rinse it off after few mins. Follow the same 2-3 times a week.
  • Boil the Green tea leaves in a pan for 15 mins. Strain the mixture and let it cool down. Apply the same to your scalp and leave it for 30 min. Rinse well.
  • Try Aloe vera. It is best when directly extracted from plant and applied on your scalp. You can wash your hairs then after with a mild shampoo. It also calms down the irritated scalp and provides relief from inflammations.
