  • Tulsi leaves, generally we all have Tulsi plant at our homes. Wash and have 5 Tulsi leaves daily morning. It has good amount of therapeutic property which keeps throat and lungs clear and helps in infection. It also strengthens immunity.
  • Drink plenty of fluids like juices, water and warm soups to prevent dehydration.
  • Get more sleep to fight infections.
  • Two pods of raw garlic each morning swallow with lukewarm water. It strengthens immunity too.
  • Take a glass of lukewarm milk and add small measure of turmeric every night.
  • Do Pranayam daily.
  • Go for morning walks and jog daily.
  • Nowadays, Aloe Vera plant is also found everywhere. A teaspoon of its gel taken with water daily can work wonders. It also boosts immunity.
  • Giloi plant is also available in many areas. Take a one-foot long branch of giloi. In that add 5-6 leaves of Tulsi and boil in water for 15-20 minutes. Add black pepper and sendha salt, or Misri according to taste. Let it cool a bit and drink this kaadha while still warm. It will work wonders for your immunity.
  • Consume Vitamin C rich foods.
  • Camphor can also be consumed.
  • Amla is natural antioxidant used to prevent.
  • Mix the powder of camphor and Elaichi ,Keep it in a handkerchief and smell once in 2-3 hours. This will actually kill the swine flu bacteria.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Clean your hands.
  • Practice other good health habits.
