#SiblingStories is a blogging train hosted by Ila Varma in collaboration with the Brand Ang Tatva. Thirty esteemed bloggers from blogging fraternity have joined hands to participate in the Blog train for #SiblingTalk reviving the sweet and tickling hours spent with loving siblings and revive golden memories of the past.

As we all know 10th April is celebrated as National Siblings Day. I count myself very lucky to grow up with my siblings. Each time when you need help or share, they are always besides you. There are lots of things happening everyday when you have siblings at your home.

I have 3 younger brothers. Our day starts with our mom shouting at my brothers for harassing me, fighting with me, pulling my hairs, breaking my favourite dolls and giving tears to my eyes. But still i m very sure that my siblings will not leave me for any reason. Our relationships grow more stronger with such kind of fights. They are my best friends. They are the perfect ones with whom I love to share my happiness and sorrows of life.

Many a times, we do have a difference in our opinions. Sometimes we argue, other times we feel bad. But finally our bond will never disappear. The best gift my parents ever gave me were my brothers. they are my only enemies, i cant live without. Like branches on a tree we grow in different directions yet our roots remains the same.

Only 1 sister or 3 younger brothers, I feel that sometimes its being a way better feeling than being a princess.

Few Memories

I remember those childhood days when we sit together to watch TV. That time we were 3, and the 4th is yet to deliver. Our TV time was always very funny. Younger one is always in loss, as he is the youngest!! Lolz!! Let me share one of those fights… We 2, me and my younger brother takes more time to watch our cartoons.but when the third ones turn comes, we end up his cartoon time so early saying that you are already watching it for 1 long hour. As he was small, he was not able to check the clock, the lil hand of the table alarm clock gets turned so fast ( by us). When we share these moments with him now, he always use to say that god will never will forgive you for those naughty things you did and applied only to me. and we just cant stop laughing.

Jokes apart, but frankly speaking these fights are always more entertaining than the TV can ever be. We use to always fight for the last piece of bread. No matter how much we already ate, whoever eat slow or fast, but the last bite is always tastiest. Specially when your siblings wants it too! Those lil fights have make every meal so valueable and memorable. When we start playing chess, carrom, video games or any damn game, they never ended peacefully. After effects are even more horror and dangerous. As one of us have lose the game.

I still remember our fights for the first turn to the washroom in the morning. Hiding food, opening the chips packet secretly, taking the pieces of cheese and chocolates and eating them when the other is sleeping. So you can never enjoy alone, when you have the company of siblings.

I know, all of you have also gone through the same phase of rivalry. I always have them around me and “Rakshabandhan” is the special time to remember and recall those olden golden memories and have fun. Those days really are not going to come back. Be it pillow fights, playing pranks, surprises, decorating houses on events and any other occasions.; things would not be so memorable, if you don’t have siblings with you!!

I know, If I carry my childhood with me, I will never become older….!!!
