Importance

Yoga, the best time to spend with yourself and for yourself. Doing yoga makes you fit n healthy. Its a healthy practice for your physical, spiritual and mental development. A bit of discipline is actually needed in our lifestyle. It increases your flexibility, strengthens your muscles and also relaxes and calms your mind and body. When your body is physically healthy, your mind stays relaxed and focused. Yoga is a perfect stress buster too. Its an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition.

History

If we go back and check the history, the word yoga is derived from the root “Yuj” to attach, join, harness, yoke.

Where to do ?

Yoga basically means union of body, mind and soul. Yoga must be performed in calm surrounding with the proper arrangements like you can have a yoga mat and then start doing. Going to the park or garden anywhere near nature where we can inhale fresh air is important. Don’t do yoga on bed or either on soft surfaces.

Tips/Benefits of Yoga

I can say there are uncountable benefits of doing yoga daily and making the same as your routine…

  • Increase muscle strength.
  • Removes negative blocks from the mind and toxins from the body.

  • Helps you sleep better.
  • Weight loss.
  • Inner peace.
  • Yoga also brings emotional stability and clarity within mind.
  • Perfects posture.
  • Builds confidence in yourself.
My experience
  • Change in my lifestyle after practicing yoga is, I feel more energetic then before. Always active and ready to work.
  • My digestive system started working properly and its fully active and functional.
  • Yoga has made my breathing system good.
  • Its said that you can increase your lifespan by 2-5 years if you practice yoga daily.
  • Increased my appetite.
  • Made me more flexible and fit.
  • Best Change in my look n confidence.
  • Reduction in stress level.

 

 

Practicing yoga might seem like just stretching, but it can do much more for your body from the way you feel, look and move. Just 15 minutes of yoga a day can start changing your brain chemistry and improving your mood. Regular practice of yoga can help lose weight, relieve stress, improve immunity and maintain a healthier lifestyle.

 

These days people don’t have enough of time for yoga due to their daily tasks, office work and so much of stressful life. But maintaining a good health is much more important than growing just financially. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well being . Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day.

YOGA is a MIRACLE , once you start following, it will increase your healthy years and will guide you the whole life. It really will change your life. People have known the Importance and power of Yoga over the period of time. Now its your call to decide …!!! 🙂

Early morning routine makes you healthy

Early Mornings = Endless Hopes

Early mornings brings so many chances n hopes to get success in your work.There is nothing more beautiful than nature, early in the morning.

Getting up early is the best habit anyone should follow. One small simple positive thinking in the morning can change your whole day. My morning routine is generally helping my kid get up early and get her prepared for her school. A healthy tiffin box for my kid and husband. After saying goodbye to both, i go back to my routine household chores.This happens to be my routine few months back. Suddenly i realised that i got so much busy for everything, What about Me, What about Myself? Am I not important to me?

After my pregnancy/delivery I just forget that “ME”…So much of stress, side effects to body, gaining weight , no me time, no reading time (Which I love to), no time for friends/relatives, nothing…!!! just got busy with kids n family, without caring of self.

But how to care for yourself…thinking that is also big question..!!

Finally i decided to give myself a fresh n healthy lifestyle. The ME time which was lagged somewhere behind !! As soon as we hear the word fresh ..the very first thing comes to mind is MORNING, True, Early Mornings!!!

What I did ?

I decided to wake up early, Spent some time with self, alone. Doing yoga, meditations , a glass full  of detox juice and sit back thinking for the plans of whole day and how i want to manage the day. I generally love to be on time, so time management is the first thing i do each mornings. As i also don’t want to affect my families routine bcoz of change in routine of mine.

Early morning planning for yourself makes your day so much successful that at 10 o’clock night , when you are off to bed, you feel so much satisfied doing your job, thats the best good night sleep ever.If anyone has to stick to schedule, he has to plan. And trust me, early morning plans gives the best results. You can smell the fresh air of ambitions in the morning. Start making positive thoughts so that you can get success easily. When you workout early morning , meditate for around half n hour, the rest of the day you will definitely feel better. Also, early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day.

Sometimes, i feel that the best thing about waking up early morning is knowing that, you have another cup of tea to enjoy..Lolz Yes Tea, i am addicted!!

To Conclude

Whatever makes you feel fresh early morning, you should do that. Main concern is..Early mornings gives endless hopes and for that you have to get up early!!! Its really nice to thank go early morning, for giving us another day to live. Its rather easier to get up early and workout than it is to look in the mirror each day and not like what you see!!

My Dad-My SuperHero

My Dad, My SuperHero !!!

Word Dad comes with so many responsibilities…What say Dads ??? because i agree with this point…!!! A great dad makes so many memories.

My dad is a pillar, support and strength of my family. It is very difficult to be a Dad, rather a super dad who is really responsible. He leads by setting a good example. My dad is very supportive and loyal. He always spent quality time with us playing s many indoor games and makes sure all of us should learn while playing. My dad better knows how to have fun in between with all of us. He also takes us out for playing games in park, watching movies, attending different competitions etc … He makes sure that his kids should not lag behind in whatever the activity is. Sometimes, while playing games he challenges us to  be the best which helps us to show our best and that helps us grow fast. He always teach us great lessons of life. The best part of my dad is he protects our family at all costs. He works extra hours to make sure we can get good education and enough of all things that are needed. He did lots of personal sacrifices too. A great Super dad is like a Super Hero who loves his children unconditionally.

We all inherit something or the other from our parents. I feel proud in the qualities he admired in me, might be inherited. My father not only provide us with all the materialistic happiness, he also makes sure that he set a good example for us by his deeds.

Dads are as strong as mountains, as calm as sea.

Generous by nature, the depth which a family needs.

A comforting hand.

A legend. 🙂

My dad is my superhero…!!

 

He always says, Don’t compare yourself with others, Be the best version of yourself. Enjoy and live a healthy life with honesty, love and understanding. Have forgiving nature. Love all…!!! This satisfactory nature of yours will take away all your worries and lets you live a happy life.

My dad, My Superhero…!!! I really admire him. Fathers generally see their mothers/sisters in their daughter, used to tell secrets only to them. For me and all those girls, Father Daughter relationships do matters a lot. Thats a special bond we share. What say Girls…?? Also blessed is that man, whose lucky enough to hear the sweet voice of his girl child calling him Dad 🙂

I too have a daughter and now i can relate how the dad really loves her daughter and how special a daughter is for any dad..they have the special place in dads heart…

Home Remedies – Monsoon

Monsoon are joyous and refreshing time. People of each age loves to enjoy as soon as monsoon arrives. The sweet smell of sand, the sweet voice of peacock and frogs makes the atmosphere and our mood happiest to the peak. We welcome this  change of season from hottie summer heat to a super cool monsoons.

 

Season of monsoon also gives rise to so many viral and bacterial diseases which needs extra care  to keep yourself healthy and fit. Kids and elder people needs extra care of their health in this season. so its better to keep extra care of your health to keep yourself away from germs and bacteria. Mainly you have to take good care of digestive system. Also immunity level is very low. To keep yourself away from allergies, infections and indigestion follow few home remedies.

 

Few tips to follow :-

  • While going out, keep umbrella, raincoat etc .
  • Try to intake hot/warm foods and drinks in monsoon.
  • Avoid having street foods in rainy season, as you can very easily fall ill.
  • Don’t walk through dirty water as that can lead to various fungal infections in legs – specially nails and feet. Also, dry your feet when they get wet.
  • Moisture your skin in monsoons, you need to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
  • To boost your immune system, have food rich in Vitamin C which also helps fighting infections.
  • Drink soups, ginger tea, lemon tea and herbal tea to keep yourself warm.
  • Avoid staying near damp walls, it can be harmful.
  • If you find yourself wet in rain, add 2-3 caps of butadiene and have a bath with warm water into it to avoid any skin problems.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Apply mosquito repellents to keep mosquitoes away.
  • Try to drink water which is either boiled or filtered because diseases mainly in this season are water borne.
  • Maintain healthy diet.
  • Avoid raw veggies and salads , else you can properly wash and clean them at home.
  • Dont sit under AC if you find yourself or clothes wet in rain.
  • Dont eat raw or uncooked food if possible.
  • Have ginger, garlic, turmeric, pepper and coriander in your diet for better digestion.
  • Avoid eating stale or leftovers.
  • Wash your hands properly before having food.

 

Diseases common during monsoon are
  1. Conjunctivitis
  2. Malaria
  3. Dengue
  4. Swelling
  5. Skin allergies
  6. Infections
  7. Leptospirosis
