Dehydration

  • Drink plenty of fluids, It helps prevent dehydration. 
  • Have Oral Rehydration solution (ORS)
  • You have to avoid the foods which are high in protein.
  • Dress properly according to the weather.
  • Rest for a while and take break from routine.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption because alcohol increases water loss.
  • Wear light coloured and loose fitting clothes.
  • Avoid spicy foods.
  • Eat food high in potassium (bananas, sweet potatoes, pineapples, coconut, mango etc)
  • Avoid excessive exertion.
  • The best way to avoid dehydration is to stay indoors. 
  • Practice Yoga to calm down the nerves that signals excessive sweating. 
  • Drink water, nimbu Pani etc.
  • Snack on the right foods like fresh veggies and fruits.
  • Chia seeds must be added in your diet to stay hydrated.
  • Lot of rest and take it easy. 
  • Have fresh fruit juices. 
  • Have some frozen popsicles or ice cubes, as this will allow you to slowly hydrate yourself.
  • Avoid milk and milk products.
  • Drink coconut water. It’s a very hydrating substance. 
  • Blend two bananas with milk and almonds and add in four to five kale leaves then add sea salt to the mixture will provide enough amount of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and chloride levels.
  • Have carrot soup.
